It depends on the county and currency.

I don't see a price increase this year globally. Perhaps if your homeland currency is particularly weak. We can only guess.

I dont see a price rise. Too many economical problems with unemployment and others where people are just not spending money on luxury items.

If they keep increasing the prices their turnover and profit I think would drop in todays economical climate. The swiss watch industry already had one of its worst performing years I believe. Was reading that on Hondikee or something

In all honesty my local AD has been discounting even SS sports models which concerns me. Although in all fairness they claimed they had a great Christmas.

I hear Trump will be implementing a 30% tax on any Rolex imported into the US. He wants everyone to buy Timex and keep jobs in America.

I think a 40% increase would be appropriate.

Actually, Timex is owned by a Dutch company and manufactured in China. I did read today that Trump is considering a tariff on Tim Horton's.

Agreed. The Swiss watch industry is in decline ever since the Chinese government started cracking down on their corruption 3 years ago.

They increase every year in EUR countries. So it will make sense to have an increase this year too.

Yes guys you have right about the decline of economy but still if you see AP, Rolex, PP are increase the price of the watch not too much but.....
On the other hand I see they give a very good discount!
Yesterday in Barcelona on Rolex AD they give me from start 12% discount to a YM everose gold 37 mm who I want to buy to my wife!
In 2014 in Wien I negociate very hard to give me 5% discount to a AP ROO black/red but now they give me 15% from start!
I don't know what marketing strategy have.....
