New Daytona vs old black dial?
Are there differences between the new and old black dial to Daytona?
Or is it the same dial, just new ceramic bezel makes the new to 116500? |

Welcome to TRF. Only difference is the bezel, I believe...

Yeah... get the white dial if you want the new model. The sub registers are black and that one looks nice. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

One experience is worth hundreds of words in the same way one change in bezel is worth tens of changes

No, the dial has changed also, it now has Matt grey sub dials instead of shin.y silver, and the font is closer together on the dial too.

Small changes can make a big difference in the aesthetics, feel, appeal, etc.. I challenge that applying rationalality to this hobby as in, "only a bezel change", might not fully explain the differences. I mean that in the most unabrasive way, of course!

The old one is prettier. Been there done that. From the horse's mouth, so to speak.

Was able to compare a new black dial 500C with my black dial 116520 at an AD. As stated, the only real difference is that the sub-dials on the new version have a matte finish and are easier to read.
