Advice
I am in need of some advice, huge advice.
I cannot decide between the 116610LV (green Sub) or the 116610LN (black Sub). I love the green Sub, but I fear that it won't go well with everything. I love the black Sub, but it feels too plain. I wear neutral colors, mostly, and I feel like matching everything won't be a big deal. However, my wardrobe and taste can change. The black Sub is such a classic and I feel like a bad ass, but everyone has a black Sub. What would your advice be? I need help. P.S. this is my first watch. |

Green. Super unique. So what if it doesn't go well with everything. It's a Rolex and you can get away with it.

My advice is keep looking till you find a watch that really leaves no doubts in your mind.

Dude, you are the man! I was hoping the first person says green just to confirm my bias. I want to entertain more opinions just to see what others have to say. |

If you're set on a sub go with LN, unless you're daring and want to get some gold with the bluesy 116613

What does the little man inside you say? You've got to listen to the little man. The little man knows all.

You make a clear point. I was just hoping to get the answer that I wanted from the community. Green is my "no doubt", it wanted to confirm my bias. Thank you for the reply.

I agree that a black sub is a bit plain and you can't swing Jackson Stone's cat around by the tail without hitting 3 or 4 people wearing one. If I ever do the black-on-black thing I'll probably get a Tudor instead.
If you wear neutral colors, a green sub won't be clashing with anything. And as others have said, it just doesn't wear nearly as green as it looks in pictures. |

Hulk. If you like the black one you can always easily pick up one in the future and the choices will be abundant, date vs no date, 6 digits vs 5 digits or vintage ...

Thanks for the advice, you guys are both on point.
You definitely will encounter others with the same black sub. Even the counterfeits will leave you upset because of how frequently you see them. I know you don't see subs as often as we make it out to be, but chances are someone has a black sub in the room. |

Matching watches to outfits is so 90's... Anything goes these days, and I like it! I prefer that my watch doesn't match, so it sticks out MORE!

If LV is what you really want, grab it. If you tire of it, you can flip it pretty easily for a LN.

For you first or only you cannot beat a black Submariner or Sub Date.
The LV is nice as well, but would not by my only Rolex. |

If you are not feeling either, don't buy either. Why would you buy a watch based on other people's preference?

Lunette Verte all day!! No disrespect to other owners but I found the LN to be a bit monotonous after a while!!
