If he comes out, I will buy it

So, at least I have made my absolute decision on what to buy next if it comes out. I know its all speculation, but at least I can now relax and see what develops. I will not let my emotions take over and I will not pay a premium on any watch. If it becomes unobtainable under my guidelines, so be it, its not the end of the world. I will simply wait for the market to come back to me, and then decide if its still the one, as it could be a couple years.
If nothing more, I can now take a deep breath, relax for a bit, and let the cards reveal themselves. As for the watch, hoping for a Steel and black Yacht-master with Oysterflex rubber strap as pictured.

That sure would be nice, especially if offered on both a bracelet and the rubber strap.

I like it, but far to close to looking like a Submariner to become a reality I'd have to think.
Not long until we find out now....

That on rubber would be one sweet looking watch, I can see why it'd be your next target.

I think Basel has the potential to be pretty exciting this year. Plenty of speculation out there... surprised I haven't seen many threads about that yet....

I think that render is too good to be true. Would considering selling my Hulk for that.

Nice looking watch. But...without some sort of micro adjustment, it would probably not appear on my must have list.

Very sharp, but getting dangerously close to Sub territory. Looks great though

I have been drooling over this mock up ever since I first saw it as well. If it becomes reality, it's a certain purchase. In general, I am very excited to see what both Rolex and Omega show at Basel this year. My wallet and wish list is ready, they just need to show me the goods!!

I love it. Wasn't the Yacht-master created as a dressy Submariner originally?

Not really - the prototype looked closer to a Daytona.

Yeah, so not for me, I love the platinum sandblasted luxurious feel of mine.

Put an Everest or Rubber B on a Sub and you've got that watch. OK except for the red second hand and writing.

Love mine in RG so while I wouldn't get it in SS I still admire it! Easily one of my favorite Rolex and certainly most comfortable!

That looks gorgeous. If it is true, then the yachtmaster could easily be the best selling Rolex amongst the new releases.

That's a lot of black and not much bling LOL. Then again, each to his own. Would be for sure a tool/commando piece.
I have found its name. The Rolex "Recon "
