Tough times, is your Rolex at risk?
Many folks are having financial issues in the USA at this time. I see ROlexes for sale left and right and for very good prices. To many, the Rolex is a luxury and is the first thing to go in a financial pinch.
How about you? If you needed the cash would you liquidate a Rolex first? A boat? A car? The dog? I am just wondering how far down the "FOR SALE" list a Rolex may be for you.

I would sell my SS Daytona in a heartbeat if I needed to. I would keep my Sub Date.

Not only would I sell it for quick cash, but I did....4 days ago. Needed money for a upcoming house purchase and had to turn around some solid coin. I dont really regret it...Rolex isnt going anywhere and ill definitely own one again eventually.

I voted sell other stuff.
If however, it meant paying the mortgage for a few months and there was no other way to make the money, the watches would be gone in a flash! J |

I'd have no problem selling a Rolex if I needed money. With production of almost a million units a year, there'll always be another one.

I would never sell it. My watch has far too much sentimental value. My father helped me pick it out. He's dying of lung cancer. I look at it and think of him.

No, I would sell other things first. This GMT ll was a 15th anniversary gift from my wife. I had always wanted a Rolex but we are not wealthy people. She took the vacation money we had been saving and bought me the watch instead. It means everything to me.
