Second Hand Alignment Question

Hey guys so I got my Oysterquartz serviced, only thing done movement wise was a cleaning and cannon pinion replacement. Before, my seconds hand lined up perfectly with the indices, now however it's almost exactly in between the indices every tick. I asked ABC, they did the work and they are unsure what to tell me. It's not a huge deal, but any idea how this happened and how to fix it?

The hands point where the watchmaker places them on the staff. With an oysterquartz, that only ticks once per second, it becomes noticeable when it is not attached pointing exactly at a line. A mechanical, not so much since it "ticks" 8 times per second.

The fix is to take the hand off and rotate it a few degrees

RSC did this to my OQ. I took it back next day and they fixed it.

Good to know, I'll have a local guy look at it.

Second Hand Alignment Question

Easy fix but needs fixing in that model. Hands need resetting
