Best bang for your buck Rolex! Crazy that the YM2 is priced $4k more than this Uber complicated model.

Yep! As I have stated in a few threads now, this to me is the star of the show. $14k for the look and complication of what was a PM only watch?

Yes please!!

It's SS/WG right? Is the centre links WG? or just bezel?

A complete shocker in SS and will be huge for Rolex in the long run once everything sets in IMO

I was shocked to see TT, then when read more and found SS, I almost fell out of my seat

I just checked A Blog To Watch to see more pics of the SkyD, and their site is truly awful. How are they in business? It says "Baselworld 2016" on their site.

Guys. Hold on.

Its a Two tone white gold/stainless steel.
It comes in yellow gold/ss and white gold/ss

I don't believe it to be all SS.

Here is dialogue from there website.

Rolex is introducing new versions of the Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller, its classic watch for world travellers, for the first time in a choice of yellow Rolesor or white Rolesor versions – combining 904L steel and 18 ct yellow or white gold. "

I like the SS with blue dial, but I like my YG with silver dial better than any of them still. Would have liked to have seen Rolex keep this a PM only watch, but at least the YG looks/wears entirely different than SS.

here's a link for you:

https://www.rolex.com/watches/sky-dw...6934-0001.html

It has a white gold bezel, like the fluted Datejust models.

This did it for me. The stock website photo had it too close to a blue/stick DJII..but THIS color contrast with the subdial is exquisite!
