This watch appeals to many in the east, I think it's stunning and very catchy.

Yikes. I'm not a fan of any gems on any man's watch. That's for ladies only. Just my humble opinion

She should love it!
I don't understand why they didn't also do this rainbow bezel for the 37mm, too? Many gem lovers may not have big enough wrists to carry off a 40mm size nor want the weight of that size.

I quite like it! Not for me I must confess but I can see my wife wanting one. I agree 37mm may have been a better size!

Yes you may have ordered it, but for your wife! Most Men are saying they don't approve of it.

I'm with you Tom, and I upgraded my 37mm Yachtmaster, to 40 partly due to your reasoning about the 116655.

This YM Be-Dazzelling Bezel is eye catching, and when my wife saw it thought it was nice, but again this is a woman talking....

I still think they should have put this on a Gold bracelet, and made the Dial Glossy...

Everything is matte, and then you have this outrageous bezel... it could flow better

The model isn't practical but then again who needs any sport watch in precious metal? Rolex does gem set pieces like this more as a show of their ability rather than practicality or a chance to sell a lot of an item. Setting gems is an art and this is an art piece, that's all. If someone likes the look of it, good on them.

I think too often we look at "leopard" Daytonas and other blinged out pieces through the same microscope we look at subtle refinements of classic stainless steel sport models.
