Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore G series vs H series
Hey everyone new to the forum just wanted to know if anyone has a info or a link to somewhere that lists out the differences between serials on the Royal Oak specifically Rubberclad between G series and H series
I see the Chrono second hand is White (G) vs Silver (H) Same for the AP logo white v silver The date window the G has white with black writing and H has black with white writing And the numbers seem to be more bright white on H vs G they are little tinted yellow in which you can tell they will Glow in the dark Are there more differences? is this something that's just between G and H or they just happen to be different serials but do not define the change. Thanks |

Welcome... I'm sure it's just the lighting that makes the hands look white or silver. It should be outlined in silver and white inside. As for the date wheel, I believe they're all white, but could've been replaced with a black wheel.

Incorrect. When talking about Black dial RC, two very distinctly different versions. I don't recall on serial numbers, sorry! But the new version is referred to as the "2012 Rubberclad". OG version - greenish tinted numerals, white ap logo, white large chrono seconds hand, white dw/black numbers, base of chrono counters (6/9/12) HANDS is a black mounting base. Lume glows greenish (obviously.) 2012 version - more crisp white numerals, silver/chrome ap logo, silver/chrome large chrono seconds hand, black dw/white numbers, base of chrono counters (6/9/12) HANDS is a silver/chrome mounting base, AND silver numeral surrounds/trim/borders. Lume glows more of an aquamarine blue (BGW9 - like Rolex.) I think that is all the differences - at least all that I remember at the moment! Hope I've helped! |

My understanding is that there is no difference between the G serial and H serial stainless steel ROOs that come with the reference 26170st. For the stainless steel Rubberclad with reference 25940st, there are distinct differences between the G and H serials, with the most noticeable being that the Arabics on the G dial have a light "green" lume, as compared to the crisp white lume in the Arabics on the H dial. Other differences are outlined in "sssteel's" post above.

He was talking about the Stainless Steel, Black dial. My post outlined (as I stated at the top of it) - differences in Black dial, SS version. There are certainly two models of that. I was NOT referring to the RoseGold Rubberclad at all - though there are also very clearly two versions of that one as well too!! Photos: OG RC Black 2012 RC OG RGRC 2012 RGRC ******NOTE: One dial of the white RC ;) The OG RGRC has a dial very similar (though not exact!) to the Chronopassion. Who here knows THAT watch?!? ;) ****** |
