Lost Submariner - Hong Kong
Hello everyone
I apoloagise if this is in the wrong area, this is my first time using the site. Unfortunately on Saturday 01/04/17 I had my Submariner stolen from me whilst out in Hong Kong. I have no idea how this happened, one minuite I was wearing the watch and then the next it had gone. I have reported it stolen to the police and have an incident number. Has this happened to any one else before? How would I proceed from here? Looking forward to hearing from you Best wishes Rob |

Where did it happen? Watch theft is very rare here. Could it have fallen off? Report at Rolex HQ, 14/f Jardine House, Central.

Thank you very much for your advice. I shall go and report it at the Rolex store in Hong Kong.
I have given the serial number etc... to the local police who will contact me if anything gets handed in. I was out in Soho. I am pretty certain it didn't fall off. I am just bemused as to how someone may have taken it. Hoping it will turn. Thank you again for the advice. |

Wow, if was stolen off of your wrist, whoever did it is really a master. I guess if you were in a crowd being jostled around someone might open the flip lock and slide it off your wrist unnoticed. Good luck getting it retuned.

Quite unusual especially in HK where almost everyone wears a rolex.

I almost lost a SubC when one of the screws almost backed all the way out. I know that this has happened to others as well. Could this explain why it was there one minute but gone the next?

It's also possible a bracelet screw fell out. Then the watch fell off the wrist. The fliplock does not have to be opened.
Sorry to hear what happened. |

Lost Submariner - Hong Kong
SoHo area is pretty safe and almost everywhere you see people wear Rolex. LKF or Mongkok I can kinda see it happening but rare. Must be a master thief/artist to pull something like this in daylight while on your arm.
Sorry for the loss. |

I've had a screw back out in less than one day on a SubC. It was on the far side of my wrist and not too noticeable until I caught it on something.
