I think the smooth bezel works better with this modern looking dial in this case.

I like both, but I'd give the edge to the smooth bezel in this case

Not for me, but fluted. If you're doing DJ, just go all the way.

I don't like fluked bezel in general. However, the flukes bezel definitely looks better given the dial combination in your photos...

Fluted looks more dressy and smooth looks more sporty. I like the dressier look for the DJ.

DJ's signature is the fluted bezel. Besides it looks better too. Smooth looks a bit ... baldy especially on the big version IMHO.

I ordered my DJ41 with a fluted. No offense to anyone that likes the smooth, it's a very nice looking watch, but IMHO, the smooth just looks kind of.... incomplete.

I really like both versions, but you can't beat a fluted bezel under good light. However, if you want something a bit more under the radar, then go for the smooth.

My thoughts as well

On the DJ 41 I would probably go fluted, but on the DJ II the bezel almost looks like a Reese's peanut butter cup, it's too big. (IMO of course)

For a DJ go fluted. It gives that right amount of flare that defines this particular model.
