Rootbeer GMT

Not seen many of these about, but they seem increasingly rare and sought after!

Personally, I love the look! VERY different, in a classy way to the S/S GMT... I have owned a Pepsi as well.

Opinions about their future... mulling a purchase!

Cheers!

I never understood the appeal until I saw one in person in an airport. I'd love to have one someday.

I wouldn't say rare, but definitely off the beaten path. And a real looker, IMO.

Post some pics when you get it.

Such a great watch. Very rarely seen in the wild. Love mine. But they're not for everyone!
Mine gets a huge amount of wrist time and usually travels with me.

At a nice afternoon get together with with a nice variety of Rolex in attendance my 13hear old niece picked the root beer as her favorite one, so I have I have an excuse to hunt for one. I think it's the coolest, strangest thing out there and I love the GMT's...

Interesting, I just saw my first root beer GMT in the wild while climbing a mountain on the Appalachian Trail a little over two weeks ago with my son. Until then I had only seen them in pictures.

Both myself and my kid thought it was gorgeous, the way that copper/brown dial reflected the sunlight. This is coming from a guy who finds two tone Rolex watches distasteful. Having said that, I'd love to own one someday.

Ahhh, the classic used car salesman. I love it! Unsure about their future. I think they'll stick around where they are now at least for the next few years.

It didn't appeal to me initially... until I put a 1675/3 nipples on!

Now it's one of my favorites :)

I had the chance to buy this one at a HODINKEE pop up shop. They wanted $6,000 usd back in 2012. Glad I passed. I prefer the nipple dial version.
