Wow, and that's with them swapping it out and keeping my other one?

Yeah that's approximately what a stainless steel oyster bracelet costs. Not sure if you would get credit turning your old one in or not (I would guess no.)

What did you do to destroy it? Are you sure it's totaled? You sure you couldn't get it restored?

The guy at rolex did not want me to waste my money. He was positive he can restore it. I guess when I'm hearing the 2K number I think restoring is the best option.

Basically the clasp is banged up from a door. And the top 3 links have a deep scratch. It's upsetting.

Scratches + knocked against a door = "destroyed"?

Come on, bro. Come on.

You should see the thread about the guy getting into a motorcycle accident with his watch. Or that pleb that ran over a new Air King with his car.

My garage door legit messed it up. My watch hit the 2 metal prices when you lock the garage door. It looks like shit. I had the watch for a month.

Can you post a pic please? That sounds nothing like major damage. At least nothing where it can't be restored to look like almost new!

If you trade in the bracelet at a RSC it would be about $1,000.

.

Oyster 78590 (for Daytona-C) is $2,750 at price list (without taxes).

Restoration is a better option (3 brand new links cost $75 each) , and the clasp can be polished back to new.

Oyster Bracelet Replacment

This forum is rife with insolence. This dude is upset that he F'd up his bracelet and a quarter (or more) of the replies are hardly more than trolling. Who cares what his perception of destroyed is? Post a helpful and courteous reply or move along, is that so hard?

I don't think irony means what you think it means.
