strap options for travel

i'm looking into some strap options for traveling. obviously i can just use the bracelet but i also want to check out other options. mine is a 116710 gmt-c.

-nato (but read some members had theirs pop out out of the srping bars). and no hole case may not be the best.

-leather/cordovan strap. probably my preferred option. i really hate how the watch looks with the endlinks attached. custom to maybe close down that gap? anyone has experience?
**on another note, came across a video by everest claiming that the exposed gap will damage the lugs. sounds a bit ridiculous and a zealous sales job to me. correct me if i' wrong.

-rubber. last option since the prices are a bit ridiculous, imo. looks to be the simplest option tho.

If you like leather, Everest makes a curved end leather without an endlink. Their rubber is super comfy too

Look for "curved end" straps. Several leather types/styles to choose from.

They look great !

I can recommend custom made camille fournet calf skin straps, or a Hermes calf skin. Only problem is you might need to get curved spring bars, as the straps might be to close to the case to move freely.

That is a first for me. A BLRO on strap. Interesting idea.

I can highly recommend an Everest rubber strap. Rubber has so many great advantages, specially when traveling to places you don't know how "safe" they are. Your watch will just fly under the radar on a rubber strap.

A Rubber B will be your best option. Especially traveling and being expose to different temperatures. IMO Rubber B has the best quality.

Rubber is great for quick drying if you're getting it wet. Otherwise I'm a big nato guy. Never had a problem with springbars popping out or whatever.

How about tropic rubber...seems to address the above issues.

Summer is for rubber or metal watch straps. Hirsch has some rubber backed leather. Abp makes nice leather straps too.

I have been researching for about 6 months the best strap to get for my watch and I really think that Rubber B is the best option. Also, I totally agree the rubber is best for the summer time.

I finally got around to putting a 'Vagenari' (terrible name!) black rubber strap on my 116710ln, great look and quality, cheaper than other options I've seen ($130 shipped.)

I'll post pics and full impressions when I get a chance this week, that might be a good option if you like rubber but want to save ~$100.
