A little bird whistled into my ear (surprise Tudor release)
So lots of watch talk this morning. As I was in the city and had lost so much time hunting for a parking already, I figured it'd not really make a difference and decided to pay Bucherer a quick visit. Turns out they have their own line of collaboration pieces with the likes of Panerai, JLC and AP where the watches have blue dials in their honor. All great, the showcase looked really handsome. If you are interested, they have a little microsite dedicated to that online.
Anyhow, here's the relevant part: apparently Tudor has joined the list of participating brands and is about to release a -> blue edition of the BB Bronze <- for the series. All still under wraps, but I was told to expect more on May the 4th or 5th. Interesting stuff. As a happy owner of a blue dial Bronze Oris, I can say it is a great color combo for sure. Looking forward to seeing Tudor's rendition.

Awesome! I'm a big fan of the blue + bronze combo on the Carl Brashear Oris. They definitely hit it out of the park with that one. I'm hoping the Tudor can hold its own with that combination as well, keep it simple, let the materials/colors speak for themselves!

They had this look poster out during Baselworld 2017 but didn't release it that time. Maybe they decided to hold it off for this event!

Wow, love that color combo! Just wish it wasn't so big...

Indeed, and a great excuse to visit Switzerland in general and Lucerne (their original store) in particular. They are also present in Germany as well as the capitals of several other European countries afaik
