Does anyone ride a motor bike with their RO?
Hi All,
I am new here, although I dont own an RO nor a bike, I am looking to get both in the near future. It just suddenly cross my mind that if the RO can stand the ride of a motorcycle? Just wondering if anyone here wear their RO while riding their bike, or if you think it's a smart thing to do? Thanks all for your advise. Sunny Sent from my ONE E1003 using Tapatalk |

I would imagine the vibration could possibly affect the movement over a long period of time but I would not be concerned myself. What sort of bike?

One of my friends bought my Diver and he wears as his beater and rides a motor bike quite a lot with the watch on. I know he hasn't had it serviced yet and he bought it from me 4 or 5 years ago, I sold it to him when it was 2 years old.

I used to ride my Harley with my ce though always under a thick leather jacket, probably not smart as in case of an accident it would break, but in 27 years riding motorcycles the only accident I was involved in was being passenger on a bike, needless to say there is no way I am getting on any bike if I am not the one riding it...

I would definitely avoid it - not bringing my 15202 on the Aprilia SL1000R!

Lawrence of Arabia
Lawrence of Arabia wore a Omega aviator chronograph-wristwatch, he also rode 1929 Brough Superior SS-100, both the bike and the watch survive in working order to this very day, Hero

That's mainly for fear of damaging the fine case finishing, particularly the bezel.

Thanks for all for the advise. I find someone riding his Ducati along with his RO. And he have no problem with the watch. This is good enough for me to go ahead...now the question is which size RO....haha
