Advice on vintage Datejust (linen dial)
Hi guys. First of all, I really appreciate all the info you provide on this forum. I've just recently started to learn about Rolex and Tudor, and currently have a Tudor Heritage Ranger that I like very much. I'm interested in a vintage Datejust (1601 or 1603), and have found one online that looks nice to me. That said, I'm not an expert and am wondering if you could tell me if you see any problems or areas of concern on this one. It can be seen here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ROLEX-MENS-L...%257Ciid%253A1
I know it's been polished, but is it over-polished? Any serious problems that stick out to you vintage guys? Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks! |

Thanks for the advice, guys. For the record, I contacted the seller and they finally got back to me saying that the dial had been refinished at some point. Since this will be my first vintage Rolex, I think I'm gonna wait for an all-original one to come along. This watch IS pretty tempting though... Thanks again!
