A wealthy man offers you a FREE Rolex...

...on the following TWO conditions.....

1. You may NEVER sell it - it's yours for life.
2. Has to be brand new only...no making demands for any vintage piece.

Any NEW Rolex of your choice....yours to keep forever. Choose once, but choose well, guys!! Which one? And this time I shall answer my own question (Daren, please note!)

I'd take this one....having seen it for real at Mansor's only recently!!

It's the only other Rolex I'd ever want. Nothing else in their line-up interests me enough to want one. But it's beautiful. Understated bling and all white metals. Slap a new D clasp on it and it's perfection.

Agreed!! The other day David (Mansor) was wearing it and I just couldn't take my eyes off it....very stunning indeed!!

That's it... the TTYM is toast... making way for the only white metal, non-chrono JJ hasn't owned yet. Should I reserve a 'for sale' spot down below, again?

No question about it, but the third condition has to be that I don't have to give up any of my present collection for this:

Otherwise, fogedaboudit.

First, it would have to be a wealthy woman.....
But it would be the White Gold Daytona.
One reason, this is one I would not buy myself, and I do like it.
Did anyone see "Two and a half Men", where Alan was given the platinum Rolex from the Old Lady Next Door?

A 2T Jubilee Datejust or a DayDate (118238), they are classic and not flashy. So you get a diamond Rolex (or something like the leopard Daytona) and you would wear it.....WHEN???

JJ,

You had me worried when you said two conditions. I had flashbacks to the movie Kingpin, where they spoof Indecent Proposal. Makes me shudder! Since its not a dirty old man giving you the Rolex, I'd be torn between the Plat YM, and blue face TT Sub. I haven't seen any of the exotics like the meteorite dial, but it sounds very cool.

Well first of all, the guy would be really stupid!! Not to give me a watch, but to actually believe that it is 100% safe that it would not be flipped.

tough question though. Maybe a YG Sub black dial, maybe a PLT DD with ice dial and romans, maybe a YG Daytona white dial or maybe a YG DD with white dial and romans. Hell I don't have a clue.

I feel lucky enough to have the YM and Pannies that I own, I won't hold my breath waiting for a sugar daddy.

Yes, saw that...and was a bit surprised how blatantly the Rolex was shown in a superb close-up!!

I think I'd go with a white gold presidential. model 118239. Nice watch, don't know if it would wear well, but hey it's a great looking watch.

I'd tell him to sod off. I'm not having some rich dude forcing me to accept conditions I don't want to. Who does he think he is anyway?

I'd rather buy my own.

Adrian, have you seen anyone for this problem? Have you lost all sense of unreality? You need help, my friend.

What a MAN!!!

And of course, you do realise that having made that remark, even the remotest of chances you ever had of making it on the tosser list, have now gone all out the window!!

Ummm, could you go over the rules for "tosser status" again, please. I seem to have misplaced my rules sheet! Thank you very much in advance, JJ.
