6.25 wrist: 114270 vs 14060 as a daily watch???

My wrist is very slim at 6.25 inches.
If I were to wear just one watch 24/7, which would be a better choice?
114270 (exp1 36mm) vs 14060 (sub ND 40mm)

I usually wear business casual (or suit sometimes) to work, and dress casual on weekends (or casual sometimes).

Please assume that my budget is limited to one watch only as of now.

Share your opinions and if you would, please tell me your wrist size as well!

Explorer gets my vote especially since you wear a suit sometimes - great combo right there IMO

I have a 6.3" wrist and my only watch is a Rolex SubC 114060, it fits perfectly. I had a 16800 before this one, and couldn't get past the feeling of the bracelet and lack of adjustment in the clasp.

For me, once I had the Glidelock clasp, I can't go back to a older gen Rolex bracelet.

EDIT** Sorry, read this thread wrong, thought you were comparing the 114060 to the 14060.
EDIT AGAIN**
Heres a picture of my previous 16800 on my 6.3" wrist

Doesn't subC feel big on your wrist? When I tried subC, it felt too heavy and big, but I guess preference matters!

Btw, 16800 looks amazing on your wrist.

Both works fine imo size wise....I think I'd pick the sub if it were just one...but a close call with that small a wrist (I'm not far off, I'm at 6.375 to 6.5 inches).

the 36mm plain bezel explorer will wear smallish. check out the 39mm v1 with the white romans (not the lumed out one). unless you want the whole sub thing.

similar sized wrists. Try on the subC or GMTC. The 39mm EXP will fit perfectly as well

Thank you! Here is the 114060 on my wrist for reference:

As for the weight/size of the 114060, I am used to it so it feels weird not having it on my wrist. I think a huge factor in the feel of of the weight/size is balance of the watch and sizing of the bracelet. Since the Glidelock allows for the fine adjustment, I can fit the bracelet so the watch doesn't move on my wrist and I forget I have it on.

I've had heavier watches (a few Panerai's and micro brand divers) and the weight of the bracelet makes a huge difference in the overall feel of the watch.

Both are safe for your wrist size. But the explorer will be more suitable for your apparel imo

If only one watch, Explorer is the more versatile choice.

It truly is your own feel. It seems like the Exp works better with your overall desires.

Both great but I'm a Sub fan so it gets my vote.

I have both, and a 6.5" wrist. The 114270 fits better, IMO.
