I guess it is now worth between $750K and a cool $Million!

Sorry, I just don't get it and probably never will. Nice example, wonderful provenance, but there are so many Valjoux 72s out there that look great and keep good time, I will never be able to understand that level of inflated value. Yes, there's only one. Yes, he was not just a celebrity but a pretty decent human being BUT does that really add MILLIONS of dollars in value? Is the currency so debased? Are the 1% just so obscenely loaded with cash that this is meaningless? Count me out, love the watch but nauseated at the madness.

New article on Jake's Rolex World puts the price at 10-20 million at auction. Should be interesting. Is the watch worth it? The market will tell.
