Hard decision between Ap Diver 15706AU & Ap Chrono 26022BA

Greetings everyone, my name is Sean & this is my first post on the forum. After weeks of exploring the AP forums and looking at different models, I believe I've found my true loves. I'm currently on the fence between the two models mentioned above and would like some input from the current AP owners. This will be my first Audemars Piguet purchase from reputable sellers. Thanks & many regards!

If you are going for a one watch that does it all and have a active lifestyle I would go with the diver. Ceramic bezel so it can take a good beating with getting scratched.

On the otherhand, If you are less active a gold AP is more classy.

Thanks for the response Tomas. And the yellow on the dial? What are your thoughts about wearing it with clothing?

I had an AP ROC, it's a very nice piece. I wouldn't wear everyday so if you have other watches it will fit in well. The Diver is better as a daily.

I currently have a Rolex presidential. I use to have a submariner & Breitling Bentley but I now want to become a collector of staple pieces. As of right now, I wear the presidential everyday. I just didn't know if the FC would keep its value as it is basically just a plastic watch.

Two totally different watches. The truth is you need both.

The gold AP plays the same role as your Rolex presidential, so you should get the diver for a different watch.

Looks good with or without clothes, just depends on how adventurous you are.

I'm starting to lean more towards the FC again. It was my first love & then I started to have a love affair with the chrono because you can never go wrong with gold if everything else goes to hell. Lol

Go with your gut! Plus the FC brings something different to your collection (as I consider adding a third ROO, take this suggestion as "do what I way, not what I do ")

Have you tried both watches on yet? Each of them wears very differently in terms of size and weight. I have the 26022 in white gold. I love the heavy feel of it and the perfect 39mm size/proportions.

I've tried the ss silver dial diver at the boutique. It looked excellent on my wrist & my wrist is small at about 6 3/4. It's an excellent watch but it looked slightly boring. The chrono, no but I know from my gut that it's a watch that I will love. I believe that if I do go ahead and pull the trigger on the FC that towards the end of the year I will most likely end up adding the chrono as well.

So I ended up getting the FC from Tony Ghea. So pleased to add this to my collection.

Very comfortable, still feel it on your wrist but it's a discreet and a stunning piece. If you know it, you admire it!

Should get the ROC if it's me. It fits your character. You're going to be much happier when you have it on the wrist..

Edit
Ah, I wrote this too late! Congratulations on the purchase. It's an awesome piece and adds character to your collection. Wear it in good health...
