Who actually calls the shots at Rolex?

I was wondering who actually decides what Rolex vintage pieces should be brought back, what dial/bezel colors should be used next, watch case sizes, etc, etc. Are these decisions only made and executed by the CEO?

I would imagine there is some sort of executive committee within the company.

Only Rolex knows how product management is handled but I would imagine that Jean-Frederic Dufour would be involved.

Think of the stainless steel ceramic Daytona, it was indeed a TRF idea!

I think I remember reading an interview somewhere with the CEO that it's only between 3 to 6 people in the company that know what will come out at Baselworld. Take that with a pinch of salt though.

Just like any other company there would be a board of directors that call the shots.

Whoever it is, they need to hurry up and release the heritage range pepsi GMT with 70hr power reserve, Sapphire crystal bezel insert over deep lustre red and blue bakelite with in-built lumed numerals, brushed oyster bracelet with glidelock to same clasp cover size as the easy link and in 40-42mm.

Come on Rolex, we know you're reading this, give us what we want. Please? Pretty Please?

How boring. All you Russian plants are whipping up a massive tidal wave of disinformation that you hope will mask the true powers at Rolex. Everyone who knows what's going on behind the scenes at Rolex knows it's Moose and Squirrel who run the strategy of the company.
