Incoming and Fast Review

So I've been looking for a "no worries" watch that I can use anywhere and anytime, something to pair with my YM and that it didn't feel redundant. After some long time researching, I ended opting for the Swatch Sistem 51, this one is called Sistem Aqua.

Comfort:
This watch is light, the rubber strap feels amazing while wearing it. You just forget that you're wearing it. Adjustability is top notch as well.

Performance :
I've had it for little time in order to give a performance verdict, all I can say it runs very smooth. A huge bonus in this department is the 90 hours of power reserve.

Value:
I paid $104 on amazon for an automatic swiss watch. Any doubts that this is the best watch under $150?

Conclusion :
Couldn't recommend this watch more, extremely happy with every aspect of it. The color is amazing and there's a whole lot attention to details. It's really hard to believe that this watch is $100. What's next for swatch imo? A Sistem GMT would revolutionize the industry.

Now the photos.

Thanks for stopping by.

It is quite remarkable to get a Swiss automatic watch for close to $100 with the Sistem 51. Seiko has been making sub-$100 automatic watches for quite a while with their Seiko 5.

I imagine accuracy isn't superb at that price range, but if you were looking for accuracy at the $100 price range, you would go for a Swatch quartz watch.

Yes, lume on the hands. There's a version called sistem frog that the whole watch "glows in the dark".

Accuracy is actually very good - Swatch maintain each should be +/- 7 seconds daily, which if you think about it, isn't a million miles away from COSC's Chronometer standard of -4/+6.

Mine actually stays a consistent minus 2-3 seconds daily, which is phenomenal.

The synthetic balance wheels are all adjusted/tailored by a robot & laser, to make sure they meet the standard.

As well as that & the 90 hour power reserve, they have a full balance bridge for stability, use anti-magnetic ARCAP alloy for the plates, and are both automatic & hand-winding. All that in a revolutionary, fully in-house movement that is 100% Swiss Made (which not all 'Swiss Made' watches are).

Pretty amazing, really.

Well said, I'm very impressed with Swatch's acomplishments here. This is my first and certainly not my last Sistem 51.

That is quite accurate I believe the lower-end Seiko automatic only specify accuracy in the +/- 30sec a day range.

I love the fact that they are untouched by human hands during manufacturing.
