2017 Rose Gold Chrono on Blue

Picked up my new 2017 Chrono on blue leather strap. Its a lovely watch, I must say, and somehow although brushed the gold seems to have a brighter more reflective sheen to it than on the 44RG. The detail of finishing is amazing.

Many thanks - very pleased. Its a nice size too, not as dominant on the wrist as the 44. AP are getting me a blue rubber strap for it, as I tend to sweat a bit (particularly in this 32+ weather!) and I think a rubber strap will be more practical in use.

There is more gold vertical brushing on the ROC than on the ROO and the finish is wonderful, enjoy!

I may change my mind once the novelty wears off, but at the moment, and contrary to expectations, I prefer it to my RG44. The size is better and the detailing is to a higher visual standard. Wifey likes it too, which is always a stress reducer...

thats a tough call. just be glad you don't have to choose and can have both

In general the more i get into AP's design choices the more and more i really "get" the RG and blue together. Several years ago that would not have been the case.

Plus, that bezel, wow.

Ugh if I didn't already do enough damage this year, I'd be adding that too. I think the new 44mm RG and that blue dial 41mm RG were the watches to add this year.
