Actually the newest Safari for 2017 has all brown dial. I have not seen any except for one for sale with Takuya aka Thanh Do: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthre...ghlight=Safari

looks nice. that strap though, i don't know. I guess they were serious about the safari vibe. That can't be the one it comes with right? looks like there is a second strap in the ad.

I think that one would look way better on a bracelet.

That's the strap it comes with, no more hornback on that model.

the hornback i could take or leave as i do like both so thats not a huge preference one way or the other. That one just seems really "loud" with the very clear scale pattern.

Then again, maybe it is the lack of the hornback that is throwing it off for me as that did tend to break up the pattern a bit.

The dark lines separating the scales stand out as well (which I don't think I like). I haven't seen one in person yet though so holding off some judgement.

I do prefer the original one, cream dial and brown hornback.
