It's an aftermarket ceramic bezel on an original Daytona. Not fake.

If it has aftermarket parts, it's not 100% original, fake. You cannot tell by pictures if bezel is real

seller states in the ad that it had a aftermarket bezel... no deception so i cannot report it.
There is no law against selling a modified rolex as long as they disclose the modifications and dont try and sell off as a genuine product

People put aftermarket stuff on their rolex's all the time...it's not a crime. and they clearly disclosed that. Are you going to report every car that doesn't have the original wheels on them now and call them fake too because the car is not 100% original? |

If you want to spend $12K+ on this watch, you need to know that if you send it to the RSC for repair or overhaul it will come right back to you in the condition you shipped it to them.

They will offer you the opportunity to have them replace the aftermarket parts with OEM versions before they service it. |

Any non Rolex parts on the watch and they will not touch it. If incorrect Rolex parts for the reference, then what you say is true. They will offer to replace them to original for reference or won't touch it if you choose not to.

If that is a 16520, why doesn't the white dial have black sub dial rings?

You would be very lucky if all they did was not service it. I was at an AD a few months ago and a guy bought his wife a Rolex online that had an aftermarket dial. RSC confiscated the dial and the guy had to buy a new one before they would complete the service and send it back. He was pissed!!!

It was many years ago, at the RSC NY, in person. I wanted to authenticate a DJ I had purchased. Diamond dial was aftermarket. Only thing missing when they quickly returned it to me was their environmental hazard suits and a bomb squad type robot to hand it to me so I could get the heck out of there. I went back to the vendor and immediately got my money back.

My experience was a few years before this attached thread. Perhaps they have loosened up. When I showed up in person with my diamond dial datejust that ended up having a non genuine dial, and they returned my watch to me, it was almost as if though it was chemically contaminated and they wanted me out of there as soon as possible, I don't think I even got a farewell.

Wow, that sucks, but doesn't surprise me though, I'd imagine it really depends on who you get that day working at RSC that day than a policy of sorts. Most peoples experience, though generally positive, seems to be hit or miss at RSC. |

This seller often offers up a number of Rolex w/aftermarket modifications. Always noted. He used to have/may still have a few 16800 submariners with blue face/bezel installed as I recall.
