I live in north county San Diego but I don't want to hassle with the crowds to see the fireworks over the bay. I was talking with my wife last night about this and we might book a room at the Manchester Hyatt next year on the Fourth of July to see the fireworks.

Anyone else who is considering coming to San Diego for July 4th fireworks in the future you might consider on of these hotels; http://www.sandiegohilton.com/ http://www.paradisepoint.com/?utm_so..._business_page http://bahiahotel.com/ https://missionbay.regency.hyatt.com/en/hotel/home.html All close to the action and some rooms actually face the fireworks too.

Great info. My wife and I were in San Diego recently and we loved the city. Much more so than LA, actually.

I saw the show from Rancho Bernardo High School last night, it was great, although nothing like the Big Bay Boom.
