Triple Incoming Tonight - Rolex Hat Trick!!
Hey Everyone, Triple incoming officially tonight!!!
Thank You David SW!! He is becoming my New AD.. Full service bricks and mortar location, you just can't beat what he offers (especially if you are in Florida). Need to wait on Hulk which I paid for at actual AD tonight, but transferring from another location... 1) BLRO 2) RG Daytona on OF 3) Hulk Sd43 is gone, just a bit big for my wrist, but I love it. Hulk for SS Rolex, I like best. More comfy, fits better and one of the finest sunburst dials anywhere. (I probably should have said 3 incoming and 1 outgoing = 2 Net added to collection). Final Collection (For Now ) 1) BLRO 2) RG Daytona on OysterFlex 3) Hulk 4) YG Sub (Blue) 5) 5711 White (Toughest choice was BLRO vs 5164... In the end, Rolex Durability and WG prevailed). (Ooops just realized forgot to wind my YG Sub.. I guess I got all caught up in the excitement today...lol) What I like about this: 1) Nice balance of YG, RG and WG and SS 2) GMT, Chrono and Diver Covered (Rolex's Best Sport's References IMO - Submariner, DaytonaC, GMT Master II) 3) 5711 dress watch (plenty dressy for me). 4) Great diver(s) watch for the beach 5) Great watch for travel 6) Classic Chrono for racing.. My porsche has it's own chrono, but still the daytona is the classic racing watch. 7) One SS beater watch 8) FOUR different sunburst dials (My Fav). Blue, Rose, Green, White/Silver 9) Different Bezel colors and looks (blue, red/blue, black, green, SS polished 10) Overall very colorful and varied with dials, metals, bezels and functionality 11) Full on White Gold and Full on Yellow Gold options for Stealth Wealth and Bling Bling moods 12) Finally Rose On Rubber that I love AND fits properly I have an Orbita Watch Roll (for 5 watches) coming (thanks Jorge for your pics) and plan on keeping my collection to five pieces. I really feel good about this collection lasting a while (at least a couple months anyway ) |

Goooood lord BR, some serious cash spent today huh?! All look great, is the Oysterflex as comfortable as everyone says?
I think the only thing that could eventually round out the collection is something on leather for dress. Unless you only like sport models. |

I liked it better than the Hublot, AP and PP rubber straps I have had. Perhaps too early to tell, but it hugs the wrists wonderfully and the titanium really makes it feel a bit more balanced. I am glad they over-engineered it and FINALLY a TRULY awesome watch to add it to! Quote:
Also helped having a record sales month. Quote:
I am not sure but I was waiting to see more incomings. But I am waiting no longer.. Thanks a lot Adam!! Quote:
Thanks a lot Rod!! Thanks I spent countless hours of trial and research getting to these Fab Five. |

Thanks Josh
What is mainly on your wrists these days? Thanks a lot Genero!! Quote:
Wow is the word… I am carrying my collection around the house with me… Quote:
Thanks Ryan! Thanks and yeah gets me from point A to point B… Can't complain… Thank you kind sir! Quote:
It is a beauty! That black is beautiful too but I just sold my black 116500 which is too similar. Quote:
The BLRO and 5711 are great for those non-blingy mood days. Thanks a lot Galen!! Quote:
Quote:
Thank you Lord Trace, And that is right sir, I play for keeps… Thank you clive!! Quote:
Thanks my friend, your pictures were awesome.. I was in my Rolls Royce Chaser car today to land that same watch "U-2" have… Thanks a lot!! Quote:
I understand some people like that heaviness, but not yet for me… I thought about buying it right trying it for a while and selling if it really didn't work. But my AD has let me try it on MANY MANY times and every time its a YES with looks and NO with comfort and feel… But at some point, I probably will cave in and just try and wear it and get used to the weight and acclimate to the feel. I think I just need man up a little .... Thanks Thank you Chadri!!! |

Don't force it. If you are interested in platinum, I'd also consider a DD (either the 36, which has really peaked my interest lately, or the 40 - whichever fits / feels better). Otherwise, for a dress watch, if that "suits" you, a platinum Patek would add a new dimension to your already excellent collection! Congrats again on the incomings - tremendous!
