Is this 15400 too big for me?
I'm a huge fan of the 15202 but unfortunately I suffer from 6.3" wrists (16cm) :( however I wasn't going to let that stop me from trying it on at least. So off I went to the AD but was disappointed to hear that they didn't carry the jumbo. They did have a 15400 and I thought I'd just humour myself and I tried it on.
Much to my surprise, the lugs and extended/integrated links did not hang over at all and it fit snugly around my wrist. The bracelet was too long but that was completely expected; I just pinched it back with my other hand. Anyway here are the pics. I was looking for your opinions on whether it looks too big for me overall. I'd appreciate any input and especially your candour. Thanks! I look forward to trying on a 15202 some point in the near future, which I suspect should suit my size a little better. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

You can certainly pull it off. I'd still check out the 15202 if possible to be sure.

I actually think that looks great on you. Size enough to be modern but not overbearing.

That 15400 fits better on your wrist than mine, and it looks like a great size for you. Mine was 6.3", and the 26320 (same 41mm case) looked like this on my wrist:
(clearly pushing the limits of what I can wear) Since then, my wrist has grown to 6.5" and the 15202 is the perfect size for me: I still say, try to track down a 15202 before deciding on the 15400. |

Thanks! And I agree the 15202 looks great on you, can I ask how your wrist size changed that much? Gym? I'll definitely try and track down a jumbo if I can :) Quote:

15400 by definition is a sports watch. It looks great on you. But if you want it to be dressier Id say try the 15202 or 15450.

Beautiful! I think it fits well imo. I have the exact same wrist size as you 6.3" and I went with a white dial 15400.
The fit of a watch depends completely on the "construction" of your wrist. Based on the picture, like me, you probably have a flat wrist and therefore the bulk of the watch will sit right on top. Haha... we are probably more bony in that area of our body. Most individuals will have a rounder wrist (symentrical) and therefore it "pushes" the watch upwards while reducing the wrist to wrist surface area making the watch look oversized. I also want to say it probably makes a difference with the size of an individuals hand and the appearance of a watch on the wrist. It balances the appearance of bulk on a wrist. Eitherway I think it works for sure. 15202 is always the perfect model. Give that a try first. If you can afford to buy that 15202 right now, better purchase that instead. |

not too big. its also not a questionable fit, in that it is fairly close to being too big. That fits like it should IMO
The pants on the other hand, those might be a tad too short |

From those pics, the 15400 looks great on you. Not too large at all, but lots of wrist presence.

Yours seems perfectly fine. How is it that the fit of the 15400 on my 6.3" wrist is on another level. HUGE.

I think it's just on the edge. If you are sure your wrist will not get smaller (weight / heat when you tried it on) it's fine

Perfect fit.
The bigger the better. If you have a choice, go for the 15202. Regards, Hans |
