Would you drink this?

It has got to taste terrible if not stored correctly. But would you drink it if offered:

If they price it high enough someone will buy it and put it in their safe for an investment.

I would certainly try it if offered, but I suspect it'll be long past it's best. It'd be a shame to even open the bottles and I'm sure no one will.

Being a dessert wine, Madeira keeps for a long time due to its inherent sugar content.

That said, the bottles are worth more left unopened. As for sampling, a sip might be interesting for a frame of reference. Not being a Madeira, Sherry or Port drinker myself, I wouldn't be overly interested in polishing off an entire glass.

I'm not a drinker, but I would taste it if it were offered.

I don't run in such circles, though, so it's not something that would ever happen.

I would take a sip if someone was opening it.

If it was my call I don't think the small chance of it having aged well is worth risking whatever it was worth.

If they were offering stats, absolutely. If they were tying to sell the bottles, absolutely not. The "Billionaires Vinegar " keeps popping into my head

bottled in 1798 and rebottled in 1888 makes it non OEM or a franken wine at best. I would pass

Recorked isn't uncommon for old wine. Rebottled would make me wonder wtf
