Will the new Red Sea Dweller will be limited?
I heard that the red Sd43 will be a limited run. I hear Rolex will continue to produce it but with white text. Could this be true?

Rolex knows the red text is every WIS' kryptonite and will sell like wild fire. I highly doubt it's discontinued soon. They're more interested in their bottom line than ours.

No. The black insert GMT has a green hand and text since it's the "anniversary" model. It still has that text 10 years later.
This hope for a limited run is based solely on people's desire - there's zero grounding in reality. |

Rolex will decide based on what will drive the most sales. So discontinuing the red text on the 50th anniversary Sea Dweller is highly unlikely, in the least for the next several years.

It will be limited to the number Rolex chooses to make.

Limited by demand like the SD4K. What was that, a three year run?

Conjecture, nothing more. It's a nice looking piece but it ain't on D-Blue.

Like most things about Rolex on the net you find today 99% is complete and utter boswellocks. The real number of limited production watches that Rolex has produced over the past 100 years you could count on one hand.Rolex watches today are massed produced much like many other brand today.

Even if there was a shred of truth if the red was replaced with white it would be overbearing , look at the pelagos and the LHD model , the red tones it down -so a please no from me
