Haha, the room was on the 19th floor so yes a Sea Sweller at daytime and Sky Dweller by nighttime.

Lovely pics, thanks for sharing. How was Schipol for SS sports models?

I frequently drive to Barcelona and usually stay in your hotel. The bar on the top floor has the best nigh time view of the city and sea, and worth a trip just for that (although last time I went I was asked if I had booked a table for a drink there... I hadn"t because I didn't realise it would be required. Obviously how the new jet set go through life!)

Have fun! I personally didn't encounter any situation in which I found it unsafe, although I recently did read an article on the dutch Rolex forum in which someone said he was robbed of his Rolex off the wrist without even noticing it. It was done by a normal looking guy which in his memory didn't even touch him but just stood in front of him with a vague story amd then dissapeared. So I guess it's just as safe as any big modern city. What I would recommend is avoid the small ally's late at (mid)night. They did attract the 'bad' crowd.

Don't worry, this shot was taken from the room we where staying in, so although it looks like there isn't any window, I assure there is!

Not too many SS models ussualy on Schiphol unfortunately. Although I bought my SD4K there last february. And in november 2016 they had 4(!) of them. This time just what is seen in the picture. So I guess the only real SS model was the DSSD. Never saw a Submarner or a GMT (I visit probably 4 to 5 times a year). They never know what they, neither will they tell you if you call them upfront. So it's kind of a lucky shot to buy there. There are two shops in Schiphol, both the same jeweler, Gassan, one is selling other brands as well and the other is a Rolex boutique. Depending on where you are travelling to, you get to see one or the other.
