Which of these is the hottest?
I have the SD43 but I think the SS SD is the hottest Rolex of the year. Would you agree?

The hottest Rolex of the year is whatever you got on your wrist that you bought and wanted to wear.

Agree with the others, the Skydweller does absolutely nothing for me.

I have no idea which reference will eventually be considered the "hottest of the year" by the general public. If I were forced to buy one of these two, then I'd pick the new Sea-Dweller only because I dislike it less than the new Sky-Dweller.

I'm gonna go with SD4000. Rarer than either and I love the tapered lugs, matte dial, no cyclops and smaller profile

Hottest of the year I would think would be either the Sub or Sub date...as they are, I'm assuming, Rolex's top sellers.
My hottest is the 114060...it's a scorcher. |

Always makes me laugh, a simple question and one of two boxes to tick and we have alternate watches offered up and alternate answers.
I voted the sky dweller, personally I don't like it, but I think it will be the hotter of the two. |

Sky Dweller, but only because I have one on order. But the SD43 is super sexy piece as well!

Ceramic Daytona is still the hottest in terms of most wanted and difficult to get at retail.

Yeah still the 116500 for sure. That said I'm excited about the Skydweller because it's coming next

not sure there really is a hottest watch of the year for rolex
the daytona-c is clearly the hottest watch currently although for all the wrong reasons imo as for the SD43 aka subXL.....its receiving a lot of interest but rolex has made it readily available for the most part with minimal wait times and many still prefer the sub or deep sea......the SD43 has its crowd... the ss skydweller is not at this time readily available widespread and it is yet to be seen if any version other than the blue dial even sells well...... |

I have to agree. We all like Rolex, or we would not be on the forum. But after that, we all have differences of opinion. Some are thrilled with the Daytona. Others think it is to busy and heavy. Just a matter of personal preference.
