Photobucket / update question.
I hope this is posted in the correct place?....
OK, although I have had a flickr a/c for a number of years, for forums, unfortunately, I used photobucket Today, I thought I would update a few of my photo postings from the new hosting site I am using. However, it looks like I am unable to edit and update.. or have I missed something? Any help / advice would be much appreciated thanks |

There's a time limit for edits on this site.

It would be nice to be able relink photos and get some continuity back in many of the threads (like the 'watch collection in one photo' thread) but I suspect that would require direct intervention on the part of the mods for every photo, making the exercise impractical.

Exactly why what Photobucket did is so horrid. There's massive amount of threads on different forums that are all like this. Essentially useless space without the pictures in a lot of the threads, with no way to edit it as a lot of forums put the time limits such as this. Photobucket sucks, period.

Thanks guys.
Yep, and it could happen to the free ones you switch to ...... I used to pay for Flickr pro years ago.......suppose in the end they have to earn money somehow....... Shame we can't edit the "photobucket" pics that have been lost on here. Never mind.....what do we say to photobucket? |

Business model went down the toilet and they are using blackmail to squeeze a few last dollars before they go defunct...
