Amazon......

So, I ordered a brake kit on the 15th- https://www.amazon.com/Autospecialty.../dp/B00TPGD7K0

I'm a Prime member.

One box arrived on the 19th. All the pads and only 1 rear rotor. Great, can't get much done without the other 3 rotors. So, I call Amazon and they refer me to Fed-Ex. Fed-ex then tells me I'll get a call back in 2 hours. Yeah....that never happened. I had to call the next day. Then they say I'll get a call again. Then the next day, a third call. And this time they pretty much tell me they don't know where it is and to call Amazon again to get a replacement. I talk with Amazon yesterday and they offer to send a complete kit again. I've been watching the Order Status all day and it hasn't shipped! Yet, it says it will arrive by 8pm(2 hours from now.) So I call Amazon AGAIN. This guy offers to send a 3RD kit. I just want to put my brakes on! I don't have all the tools to do this, so father-in-law drove up(6 hour drive) to help. Not much helping going on when we don't have the other 3 rotors.

I usually have great experiences with Amazon, but this and one other order years ago turned out like this. First time was my Panasonic GT25 Plasma, which I still have. And now these brakes. Ridiculous.

My experience with Amazon is that they send out a replacement, usually overnight, and they then deal with the shipper.

It sounds like you're a victim of Murphy's Law.

Almost everything I buy is through Amazon Prime.

I was told that I would get it today. Yet, that never happened. I just received a notification that the 2nd order finally shipped. But, now the expected delivery date has magically moved to Friday.

Sorry to hear that. I personally hate FedEx and much prefer USPS and UPS.

Usually, when I have a catastrophic shipping SNAFU, it's FedEx who's at fault.

Yep. Fed-Ex is always like this, especially in the area I'm in.
