see how mislabeling auctions cost you money

this watch would have sold for another thousand if it was labeled correctly.
I would have bid myself but I am laid upo with a cold right now and it took all my energy just to write this..

...get well SOON...

...I figured something was wrong since NO POSTS.

...well Steve, I disagree, that the watch pictured, beat-up as it is, probably SHOULD have sold for LESS. I have seen these in PRISTINE condition fetching around $2800-3200.

Yeah, that was one beat up watch. The lugs had chips out of them, the crystal looks like it was played with in a sandbox, the bezel edges were hacked. Someone hated their Rolex.

Bad Rolex.........Now go stand in the corner.

Get well soon Steve.

It's not a 14060 at all, but it is a 5513.

At $4,000 that is a pretty good buy. A bit of a clean up and it would look amazing. It looks like the watch has never had a polish in it's life, see how the lugs are so wide and the spring bars are not visible from the side of the case. No doubt the buyer got a really good buy.
