Looking for advice/opinions!
I have just purchased a Rolex 116000 in steel with a steel face. I chose this colour combination as I wanted to keep my watch as low key as possible.
The advice/opinions I am looking for, is what people think about finishing the mid links to a high polish finish? Do people feel this would ruin the watch? It is currently just a flat 3 piece all brushed however I would be looking at getting it finished like a milgauss Thanks in advance! |

Yeah, why not. I think the PCL's would go well with the polished smooth bezel. And if you don't like it you can always brush it back.
Do let us see a pic if you end up doing it. Or even if you don't . . . ;-) |

Congratulations! I love the colour. Great choice. I would leave as-is.

But then your watch wouldn't be as low key as possible. |

I think polishing the centre links will be a nice improvement.
It's a nice watch but doesn't 'pop's polishing the centre links would probably finish it really well and would match the bezel. Nice idea, well done |

Congrats!
Well, that is a fab looking watch. Personally would consider polishing the centre links. But then again, I am biased as I have a 116200 that comes with PCL and smooth bezel . . . |

Thanks all for opinions!
It's my first Rolex so I'm not to fussed about whether it ruins its resale value or whatever! I'm in two minds as I also own an F1 with brushed links and they are scratched and I couldn't imagine high polish links to look all that nice with scratches in! I was quoted a price of £150 from a AR to complete the polishing including clasp and lug links |
