The Squeak Is Gone

Just for informational purposes to those with some type of concern about it: The bracelet squeak on my new 126600 Sea Dweller has disappeared in just 8 days of constant wear.

PS: the squeak never bothered me and I am loving this new watch!

Glad to hear you're enjoying your 'squeakless' SD.

I love it when a new watch squeaks. It generally doesn't last long, though.

I've been wearing my SD43 everyday for the past 2 weeks. The squeak still lives! hahaha

Never had a squeeky watch, but my favourite brown brogues have a leather squeeky, which I love!

Great watch. My squeak went away in about two weeks. For me, the SD43 is king of SS.

Hinges squeak when they are dry, the noise is caused by metal on metal.

If your watch squeaks, same thing, check to see where it is binding,

Yup, usually goes away in about a week of constant wear. I love it though.

It's like new car smell. Every new Rolex I've gotten did that for a few days.

The Squeak Is Gone

Didn’t realize Rolex squeaks when new when I received my first. I miss it!

SS: shortlived squeaking?

Mine squeaked as well but haven't noticed if still does it or not....

The only Rolex I have ever owned that didn't squeak is the RGYM on the Oysterflex. I remember the first Rolex I ever bought squeaked and I thought there was something defective about it. I did some research and learned to enjoy the squeak until the newness wore off :(
