Watch shopping in San Francisco
Hi all,
Looking for recommendations for good places to shop Rolex and non-Rolex, both new and pre-owned, in San Francisco. I'll be staying on Union Square and will be there from 8-17 to 8-20-17. Thanks, Joshua |

At Shreve & Co, the people are super nice. If Mario is in, he loves Rolexes (to be fair, most of them do) and wears a beautiful 'coke' GMT. Tell him Jon (recent BLNR purchase) sent you! Enjoy! Sorry the weather isn't nicer : ( We get our clear warm days in Sept/Oct. |

Shreve Co is great for a general walk in shopping for both new and used. If you're serious about buying and want to look vintage, (and haven't heard of them) set up an appointment at HQ Milton. IMO some of the best stock of used Rolex as well as Omega, Tudor and many others. Jacek and the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I agree with the posts above. HQ Milton for some nice vintage stuff and Shreve & Co. The Rolex store at Westfield isn't worth your time. They usually don't have much in stock and know nothing about what they are selling.

I agree with the above sentiments. Jacek is a champ, Westfield Mall, not so much.

Good info in this thread.
How does Shreve & Co. in SF compare to their store in Stanford shopping mall? I have been to their Stanford location and seem to have a good selection.

The plus is they love Rolexes, the store is beautiful, and it's fun to go in. They've let me try on the WG Pepsi GMT, which was a lot of fun. Enjoy your stay! |

Shreve doesn't have that great of an inventory of stainless steel models. Was just there over the weekend. But the people are really nice.
as everyone said above, HQMilton for vintage pieces. Skip Tourneau/Rolex inside the westfield. |

Also, Kern's in Burlingame. I would say they have the best Rolex selection in the Bay Area. They have a bunch of SS and PM pieces in stock.

Thanks all. Didn't have time to check out HQ Milton or a number of the others, but I appreciate the references. I actually had a nice visit at Tourneau and really like the blue Tudor Pelagos. Also appreciated finally getting to try on the Blancpain FF 5015 at Turbillon - wears smaller on the wrist than I expected.
