Any other forum members going to burning man? I'll be putting my Sub (on a NATO) through the paces in desert, and then following up with a couple days of surfing and diving, so I get to see how tough this thing really is.

It's tough but lose the Swiss Army Knife and bring a Multi Tool, 550 cord, Duct Tape and a headlamp. All bases will be covered. Have fun and hydrate! Oh yeah I almost forgot, with the Sub bring condoms.

Hands down the most luxurious and comfortable piece of military gear! I wore the hell out of mine, while rocking my 16750 in far off places!

Before, after and during burning man. First time I wore a watch 24/7 (slept with it on) and it averaged out to keeping perfect time over ten days. I love how tough this watch is-- kept up with construction of building and breaking down our camp, and all the drinking and dancing in between. Cleaned it up with some white vinegar and it looks like new. [edit-- yeah, multi tool will replace Swiss Army knife next year, but the knife was a god-send at times!]

Off to do some surfing before returning to the 'real' world.
