Incoming - UK my first Rolex
So, the story of my first Rolex...
Something (not sure what) recently made me want to look at Rolex watches. I looked online and immediately fell, like so many others, for the charms of the incredible green SubC, not realising they didn't grow on trees (and I might have to wait a while). So, I put my name down over the phone with my local AD and said I'd go in to try on a pm sub for size. The following week I pay a visit and find that my 6.5 inch wrist can successfully carry off a sub, the example being a TT bluesy (a very nice looking timepiece!). The days pass (not many, just about a week's worth). I can't wait possibly a year for the hulk and the bluesy starts to work it's charms. I convince myself prices are going up by 10% on 1 October (well it's possible), that it's a "hedge against inflation" to "invest" in a Rolex (ha ha, well they do say they hold their value you know). But I suppose the real answer is I just had to possess it, and we're only here once, etc. So here it is (you've seen them before, I hope you like it) ... |
