Sold my sub again

Well, I just sold my Z serial COSC 14060M sub to a friend for a really good price. Not really sure why I did it other than I don't wear it at all, and my friend really wanted on for a long time and has never been able to afford one. He always hinted to me that he wanted to buy one so I finally gave in, makes me happy to know it went to a good home. I just find my 16710 GMT II so much more comfortable, it's all I ever wear, so why keep a watch if I am not going to wear it. I really hope I don't get the urge to buy another a month later like I did the last time I sold a sub, that made my wife really question my sanity. Anyway, here is one last pic. of a true classic.

I've bought and sold the same model Omega Seamaster three times, my Oris TT1 twice I've had several boughts of temporary insanity. Going whacko is easy, it's that darn reality that keeps getting so expensive LOL

I'm with ya. Why keep it not to wear when someone will really enjoy using it.

Crazy...

Something about the no-date that I have to have but do not wear either..

I have had a few 14060's, alway's though they were just missing something and sold or traded them off.

About 6months ago I got a COSC version, The extra text was what was missing IMOP, It reminds me of the 5512 I have alway's wanted only in a modern version, then about a month later I unexpectedly got offered a greensub for a great price so I sold the COSC to a friend that really wanted it, I regreted selling it everyday since,

About a month ago I bought anouther COSC, wore it for a week and it has been on my winder since, I wear my 16700 24/7 instead and am also thinking of selling it , already knowing full well I will HAVE to have one again at some point ..

I never rebought the same piece I sold... But I always wanted to! Sold my JLC Squadra hometime that was always on my winder and I've been craving another one!! Sold my Breitling for bentley that I barely wore but now I wish I had it.

Oh well.

Can't have it all.

Nice gesture for your friend, and I am with you on the 16710. Always seemed more comfy when trying on anyway. Love mine to pieces.

I fully support a Rolex being sold to another good home if it's not seeing regular wrist time. Own what you wear. Wear what you own!

I had a COSC ND earlier this year, and traded it off. Bad move. Another will enter the fray in the next six months or so.
