Your enquiry is not over-burdened with pictures or courtesy, both of which might encourage greater responses, but if that is the watch's case number between the lugs at 6 o'clock then I believe it will be a GMT-Master 6542.
May we start over with some nice pictures, especially of the dial and bezel please? These will be vital if it is a 6542. Edit : Ok, I see you have now started a new thread with an image added. That's 50% of the deficiency sorted..... That image is clearly not a GMT 6542 as the case number suggested to me, for which there are a couple of possible explanations: it could be one of the recycled case numbers, for a start. Haywood

"Your enquiry is not over-burdened with pictures or courtesy, both of which might encourage greater responses" - this is AWESOME. I plan to replace 'pictures' with 'details' and use this phrase at work. Thank you!
