Assurance that you buy at genuine 16610LV
I would like to buy a 50th anniversary 16610lv, Y or early F series flat 4 model. I very read quite a bit about the distinguishing features but I haven't found anything saying what exact documentation came with these early watches.
How can you be assured when you buy and if in the future sell that you have the real thing? From what I see warranty cards specifying "LV" and serial number simultaneously did not come with the specified serial range, only a warranty brochure with non LV model and serial. Then it seems the hang tag is a document which they rarely have but does show both, this seems the easiest Fake-able item and the price differential seems amazing for a have and have nots. Lastly it seems Rolex knows which serials are genuine if you send them in, is this true, so Rolex service could authenticate? Any help would be greatly appreciated to point me in the right direction. One last ask, if you have one for sale, please let me know:) |
