I see this a lot on TRF and that makes me wonder.

More money then sense.

So is it better to have more money or do you prefer more sense?

I have never been blessed with sense so money would be a good option.

Those with sense tend to be the ones who suffer most with mental health problems- anxiety, depression etc Overthinking.

Not that you can’t have money and sense, they usually go together if your using ‘sense’

I would like to think less, live for the day and all that.........sorry off topic!

Answer - money.

More money *than sense means they have so much money that they are wasting it on rubbish or something that's not worth it .... rolex isn't one of them.

unless you saw something else

Common sense is not a learned trait you either have it or you don't at least from what I have seen in my life experience anyway and getting to your question if I say rich and no common sense I sound shallow and poor with common sense I'm probably lying

Too much common sense and not enough money would probably make you unhappy as you would be aware of what was happening around you. I would say that there is no such thing as too much money. I am blessed with neither.

Common sense is a learned behavior. It's based on a wealth of experience doing common things.

Having the sense that God gave a muskrat is a different thing. That involves having discipline to control your impulses. I think that's what Mon is looking at, folks that have zero impulse control with money.

Better to have more sense than money, or you won't have either.

Very well said. A fool and his money are soon parted.

I have quite a bit of sense, hoping the money follows.

When you have to read posts about people with a significant amount of money they want to "invest" into watches, they start to fall under that category. At the end of the day, they are just mass produced watches.

thats what i refer to as "Common Sense" . I have been a business owner for the better part of 35 years and with the usual amount of hiring and firing during that period of time, and the amount of folks I have run accross without common sense as an employer is staggering. I stand by my statement that is something you either have it or you don't it can't be taught or learned maybe its a chromosome that will be discovered in the future of course I speak from my own experience and this certainly my own personal opinion but many many of my professioal collegues agree with this school of thought

With regards to money I have started with nothing in my life, and reminding me of that almost every day gives me a lot of sense.

I have little of either....LOL

I was reckless in my 20's. Always chasing the money. Made some good investments and some really bad ones. Mainly starting businesses. I guess I learned from that as I tend to be much more financially conservative from my 30's-50. Getting married slowed me down as now if I crash and burn it affects more than just me. Some would argue that the watches and cars are not "financially conservative" decisions, but both are things I enjoy within reason.

I believe at this point in my life I could "handle" more money. So give me the loot

Neither too much sense or too much money will guarantee happiness but that is my choice. I choose happiness.

I'll take more sense. With the right education and valuable lessons from life experiences one could leverage that to a comfortable future (financially). As it was mentioned above, a fool and their money are soon parted. I'm a firm believer in that and it seems easier than ever to lose a fortune in this day and age without the right knowledge or self control

I was never blessed with either good sense or money, so I wouldn't really know which is better.
