Is my Rolex Datejust real?
Hey guys bought this Rolex Datejust with box and papers from a friend last year, he told me it is 100% authentic and I've known him a long time so trusted his word on it.
Didn't bother to check with a third party for verification until now. Please help me identify whether this datejust is authentic or not. The serial number on the bottom of the watch is M213x80. I appreciate your help as this is the only Rolex watch left after my house was broken into last winter. Box and papers were stolen as well. These were the best pictures I could take using my phone and I had to resize multiple times as well to cut the file size. EDIT: Don't know why but the pictures are coming out all rotated wrong and I can't seem to fix the issue =S Thanks for your time. Last edited by Welshwatchman; 29 October 2017 at 06:15 AM.. |

Yes I'm going to try to take some better pictures just my phone makes the file sizes so large I need to resize them quite abit to make it able to post.

Nice Rolex.
Enjoy wearing it. But only an inspection of the movement can give you 100% confirmation that every part is genuine.

Thanks for the feedback guys really appreciate it. Saving up the funds to buy a sub or a solid gold presidential next. And yes for sure I will eventually open up the back and inspect the movement but for now your opinions have relaxed me :D

I would delete the picture that clearly shows the serial number. Not wise to post your serial number on the internet.
