I think I owe an apology to Submariner enthusiasts....
Well...24 hours since I've got my LV,maybe it's a bit too early to declare my feelings for this watch.....but it's not......
First of all my apologies go to those who bought this watch in the past and were enthusiast about it. I used to look at them like "oh...boy,you've got no taste or fantasy at all,the Submariner, the usual Submariner. Well, this is an amazing watch, for sure. Yes of course there's still and there will be some show off guy that will buy a Sub just because it say Rolex. Those kind of people cannot really tell the difference between a Daytona and a Timex.....and I love Timex. But this watch, for those who love wearing it,it's an out of this world watch that goes well beyond the "I've got a Rolex factor". Compared to my old SD,this watch is unbelivably comfortable and you barely notice it. And of course,it's beautiful,it's classic,it is so well designed,so flat on you wrist. And....is terribly addictive !!! Yes it is. You think I'm going to stop to an LV now?? Yeah right. Now I want the classic sub....or another LV to blackbezel...or a fat4 LV.... You see ?? that's an addictive watch. I love it. And thanks to my buddy Alessio for giving me such a great deal and for trading in my SD. My SD is in Tuscany now.....I hope he will not get drunk with that good Chianti !!!! Anyway, sorry again folks. Now I know what I was missing. |
