How far does the etched crystal go back to?
I was cleaning my collection and accidentally discovered that my 2003 model datejust has a crown etched on its crystal. Upon this discovery, i started to check each and every one of them and found out that my wife's datejust (circa 2003) also has it, along with my t/t sub (2005).
Prior to this, I always thought the etched crystal has just been recently implemented, may be the past year or so..... What do u guys think? |

I believe it goes back to 2001.

It varies by model, it has been seen on the YM & Daytona as early as 1999. It was fully integrated into the line by late 2003 / early 2004.
