Need advice

I am now getting into my seventies and have been wearing a M series 16610 box & booklets,no papers for several years with great enjoyment. Lately I've been interested in trading it for a 116233 two tone DJ with white stick dial full set that is about the same circa and add $1500.00 cash . For some reason I think it's a more age appropriate watch for me . What are your thoughts?

I think the most appropriate watch is the one you want to wear, and not the one that you think you should wear

Yep. I would only flip if you genuinely prefer the other watch to your current. There's no reason to spend $1500 to get a watch you don't like as much.

The 116233 is a great watch and 36mm is the classic gentlemen's size. I would go and try some on and sleep on it and then decide. It will wear smaller than your Submariner and this is something that you may or may not like. Only you can decide which one is right for you. I think the white dial is a great choice and the sticks make the watch very legible. The lume on the sticks are perfect for night time. You really can't go wrong either way.
