My SS Diver - Fresh from the Spa

My new SS Diver was sent in to Singapore APSC for service, change to a new bezel and some light polishing. Now, two months after, the watch comes back looking like new again.

Very happy about the job done. Please to share some pics. This watch has been with me for 5 years now.

That looks amazing! The bezel must have taken quite a beating to need a replacement

this needs to be the standard pic for reference when people ask about sending an AP to an independent watchmaker.... they dont look like that

I think scratches/dings could easily have been removed, The issue is whether they can do so and still have the bezel meet AP factory spec

Losing any of the shape would be a shame. So I understand going with a new bezel. It looks great

It looks amazing, no doubt. I only asked because his Diver always looked great before and I have been led to believe by AP that a bezel can be refinished about 3 times (for normal wear and tear) before being replaced (b/c losing its shape). If bezels need to be replaced at each service to ensure they are within factory spec that does change the service calculation a bit.

Either way, it looks amazing and I love the 15703 dial!

Hi. APSC did not asked to replace the bezel. I asked them to do so. While my past diver pics might looked pristine, the photos didn't reveal all the little scratches and dings that have accumulated all over the SS bezel over the years. I am kind of OCD so might as well just replaced the bezel. I also asked them to do some light polishing on the case to remove hairline scratches but this should be done in a way that does not alter the dimensional integrity of the case. It's the first time I send my AP watch in for servicing. Have to say APSC in Singapore did an amazing job on this watch.

Yes pics are very deceiving, I get asked often how come my YG Subc still looks pristine after 3 years and I tell them it has more than a few marks esp on the 12 o'clock side that faces the world but generally is never seen in my wrist pics.
